Kalendargirl
Brown
(black) rosetted Bengal Queen (76 30)

"Kally"
- Typhast Kalendargirl - is an extremely beautiful queen
out of Grand Champion Typhast Hurricane and Gogees Centerpiece
of Typhast.
Mated with Grand Champion Typhast Greatballsofire, the
combination is magical. The first litter produced a
really stunning boy (Typhast Rhambo) who went to Sweden
as a stud. At nine months old he became a Champion and
we are sure he will be progressing well above that title
as he matures. The repeat mating produced Typhast Zsami,
Best Foreign Kitten in Show, Somerset, 2010, and his
sister, Typhast Zeena, Best Foreign Kitten in Show,
Suffolk & Norfolk, 2010.
Unfortunately Kalendargirl does not enjoy showing. We
exhibited her on the Club table at the National when
she was about eight months old and she wasn't at all
happy. We therefore decided not to take her out again
- the temperament and quality of her kittens says it
all for her without having to go through an experience
she doesn't enjoy.

"Ubidoo"
was one of the first girls we made up to Champion. As
you can see, she has a lovely clear well-defined rosetted
pattern and a short silky glittered coat with great contrast.
She was mated to a young son of Gr. Ch. Typhast Greatballsofire.
This was their first litter so we were very excited about
the outcome . We were not disappointed and she has four
beautiful girls. Both parents have delightful temperaments
so the kittens are not only very beautiful but outgoing
and fun as well. We will keep you posted.

We
first met this beautiful young lady when she was 4 weeks
old! We were holidaying at Gene & Ken Ducote's in
Baton Rouge and helping with the cats when this little
girl caught our eye. Even at that age she was stunning
and stood apart from the rest, beautiful though they
all were. The last thing we had intended on our holiday
was to get another cat - however, this was one no-one
could resist.
Wonderful friend that Gene is, although she swore she
would never put another cat through the Pet Passport
scheme for anyone, she did this for us and we now have
Cheerleider in our Cattery, being wooed by a very delighted
boy! We don't think there is any need to eulogise about
her looks, just enjoy the photos. When she is fully
mature she will be even more breathtaking. We are very
lucky to have her - thank you Gene, for your generosity
in sharing such a lovely girl with us.

We
have our dear friend Gene Ducote to thank for sending
us this amazing girl. Not only is Centerpiece very beautiful
to look at herself, but she has shown that she can also
produce equally beautiful kittens carrying her white tummy
gene.. This is illustrated on her web page, where you
can see kittens from her mating with our white-tummy boy,
Eriador Dune. This was a very exciting litter, not only
were they very pale underneath, but their markings and
type was lovely. We do still have one very promising girl
at 11 months old out of this mating - if you are interested,
do please get in touch.

This
is Celia, mother to Clari. We are especially proud of
this delightful girl as, although born before Championhip
was granted to Bengals, she became a Champion at the
ripe old age of 7.5 years, beating much younger cats
on the bench. She is one of our top breeding queens
with beautiful, clearly-spaced markings and great contrast.
She is a real character and a most superb mother. She
believes in playing with her kittens and the resultant
noise throughout the house when they are playing chase
is deafening. The character of her kittens are marvellous.
Totally unphased by anything and real personalities.
The bonus is that they are also very beautiful, as you
can see from Clari. We believe we have to thank Jigsaw
for the large well-spaced markings and beautiful pale-gold
contrast that is running through the line. It is certainly
something that he specialised in.

We
first met Enchante at the Chicago Bengal Congress in
2003. She was only just an adult but became a Champion
on that day winning Best Cat in one of the rings over
the much more mature males. We instantly fell in love
with her, so when Gene offered her to us in 2006 we
were delighted and plans were immediately put into place
to bring her over on the Pet Passport Scheme.
Enchante is a most charming cat, so well adjusted and
laid back, and apart from being extremely beautiful,
she is a great asset to our breeding programme.

Champion Typhast Juniper
Black/brown rosetted Bengal Queen

Juniper
was out of the first mating we did with Gr Ch Typhast
Greatballsofire and Typhast Queenofhearts. We felt it
had potential, but we had no idea it would be as good
as it was! We were delighted with the kittens and kept
Juniper, showed her with the GCCF and made her up to
a Champion before she was a year old.
She is a lovely girl with large, widely-spaced black/brown
two-toned doughnut rosettes, with chained rosetting
down her back and striking glitter highlighted by her
pale gold background. We shall probably try her in the
Grand Classes later on when she has matured a little
more.

Black/Brown Rosetted Bengal
Queen

Collumbine
is really striking. She has her fathers large,
clearly-defined, doughnut rosettes but much blacker
outlines, and centres that are opening out beautifully,
all set on a contrasting pale gold glittered background.
This is a Bengal girl with a real wow factor.
She has a slightly small head, beautifully proportioned,
and expressive, nocturnal eyes. She was voted as 'cover
gir'l of the Bengal Cat Club Calendar 2009 and that
is the picture featured here. Collumbine is full sister
to Ch Typhast Juniper, but a later mating. Having seen
what a beautiful queen Juniper turned out to be, we
repeated the mating and as you can see, it was certainly
worth it!
Collumbine was shown three times with the GCCF as an
adult and became a GCCF Champion at the Croydon Show
in three straight shows at the age of just eleven months.
She has subsequently won one Grand Certificate and 2
Reserve Grand Certificates. She recently had a stunning
litter from Gr. Ch Typhast Hurricane and we will definitely
repeat the mating at a later date. In the meantime,
we shall probably put her back on the show bench in
the hope of getting her made up to Grand Champion.
