We are
so pleased with this boy with his inky black rosettes on a
silky gold coat – he is simply breathtaking. He is a
son of Power Surge and like dad he is a large and very muscular
boy. He is a great asset to our breeding programme and has
brought together many of the good features from our old lines
with the added bonus of doughnut rosetting and size from his
father.
His temperament is superb and he just loves to cuddle everyone.
His last litter of kittens were reared with him and he was
so happy teaching them how to use the exercise wheel and play
chase, that we felt very guilty when they went to their new
homes!

Vesuvius
was the first home-grown boy we had out of Gogees Power Surge
of Typhast. His mother Ch Typhast Extraspecial (Celia) comes
from a long line of extrovert, mouthy, personable cats with
the most marvellous temperaments. We are delighted that Vesuvius
has inherited all of these traits, with a delightful laid-back
affectionate attitude to life. From an early age he was a
strong muscular lad showing all the mature attributes that
we hope for in a Bengal. He had no problems becoming a GCCF
Champion, which he did in three straight shows. With his lovely
clear markings, soft plush coat, excellent type and strong
muscular body, he then progressed to Grand Champion in a very
short time, winning three Grands and two Reserves on the way.
We then showed him in the Imperial Class at Bucks, Oxon &
Berks and were not disappointed. He won the Imperial &
Best of Breed. He also won all his other classes and went
on to get Best Foreign Adult in Show. Since then, he has gone
from strength to strength, achieving his Imperial Grand Champion
status at the London Cat Club Show on 11th June.

Imperial Grand Champion Typhast Greatballsofire

'GB'
(as he is known to his friends) carries the marble gene. He
is a very large boy even by Bengal standards and he has (as
his name implies) very large sorrel rosettes with darker outlines.
He, again, is a very affectionate, outgoing, lad of lovely
type and has sired some beautiful kittens.
Under the GCCF system, we can only 'make up' one cat at a
time, so 'GB' was not shown as a youngster. However, his time
finally came last year. Although he was over three years old,
to our delight he sailed through, winning his three championship
certificates consecutively, plus Best of Breed on each occasion,
culminating in Best of Variety Foreign Adult at the Kentish.
He then went on to do the same in the Imperial and Grand classes.
The icing on the cake was the 2011 Ocicat & Bengal Show
where he won the Olympian, Best of Breed, first in all his
classes and went on to win Overall Best Exhibit in Show. We
hope his show career will continue to blossom - he is one
hell of a cat - and we love him dearly!

We very
proudly present Imperial Grand Champion Typhast Krakatau.
This beautiful boy is providing an excellent outcross for
us with a strong rosetted gene pool to help us progress with
our breeding programme.
We showed him at three consecutive shows as an adult and he
swept the board undefeated, becoming a champion at our own
Bengal Breed Show on 23rd July 2011, before becoming a Grand
Champion at the Ocicat & Bengal Cat Club Show on 29th
October 2011 at just 15 months old. He sired his first litter
of kittens at just six months with Ch Typhast Quantumleap
and they are superb, as are the kittens he sired with Typhast
Trugem two weeks later. (At this point we put him outside
in a stud house - beautiful though his kittens were, we were
likely to become over-populated - his enthusiasm for his work
was getting too much!)
It is so rewarding to see the beautiful rosettes appearing
in the various litters he sires, especially when integrated
with Hurricane's lines, and we can again thank our friend,
Gene Ducote for arranging for Shogun, Krakatau's father, to
spend some time with us giving us a healthy rosetted outcross
practically unrelated to our own lines. The future is exciting!

Another
boy of very good type whom we are delighted to have in our
breeding programme. Lancelot is out of High Voltage and Centerpiece,
both very rosetted with good
coat quality. He has the excellent temperament that is synonymous
with our breeding and combines lots of rosettes on a warm
gold coat. Again, he is a big lad - and still growing!

We are
extremely delighted with this beautiful boy from Laura Ratliff.
We sent his father, Supreme Grand Champion Typha Jesshawk,
to Martha Battenfeld in the early days of British Bengals
because our gene pool was too small to use him and he was
too good to neuter. He proved his worth by becoming the first
snow marble Supreme Grand Champion in the world. His son has
beautiful blue eyes and great dark spot contrast on a pale
ivory background and tons of glitter. He throws beautiful
kittens, especially snow marbles. He has been to three Seminars
where he has won everyone's heart with his beauty and affectionate
laid-back behaviour. Because he was a TICA Champion we did
not show him, having too many other younger boys to promote
the breed. However, when our club was looking for entries
in 2010 for the show, we entered him to make up numbers. Much
to our delight he won his first CC at 9 years old! We then
entered him for two more shows which he also won and became
a GCCF Champion in three straight shows

We cannot
thank Gene enough for sending us this boy.
He has now grown into a big typy adult male and not only looks
great with all of his rosettes, but has the sweetest temperament.
His offspring are also following in dad's footsteps with impressive
size, beautiful rosettes and very affectionate temperament.

Gogees
Wardance is full litter brother to Supreme Grand Champion
Gogees Warpaint. Both of these boys have produced really super
kittens so we were naturally over
the moon when Gene sent him to us to continue his good work.
We had fallen in love with him as a young stud when we saw
him at Gene’s Cattery, but we never guessed the day
would come when we would have him in our own Cattery! He is
a lovely gentle boy, putting type, colour and rosettes into
his kittens. They also have the most outgoing adorable temperaments
and are very addictive. Typhast Clearlyspecial is one of his
kittens and definitely has the 'wow' factor that he is so
good at producing.

Dune
is out of Saris Wizard, the white-tummied boy whom we imported
from the USA in April 2007. We already knew that Dancer carried
the white tummied gene as does Centerpiece, so we hopefully
had a good mix to encourage this very attractive feature in
our future Bengals. Dune is part of the jigsaw and a very
lovely part, with the added bonus of being totally un-related
to any of our existing lines. He has the sweetest nature,
lovely soft well marked coat and a very pale underside.
His
mother was a beautiful clearly-marked white-tummied girl and
we are very grateful to Carol Hebdon for letting us have a
Wizard son back to continue this aspect of our breeding programme.

We had
not intended to be involved with Silver Bengals, but having
visited a cat show in Chicago in 2003, we were so impressed
with these beautiful cats, that when Gene Ducote offered us
Gunner, we couldn't refuse. Ths was a brilliant decision,
as the kittens he is producing are stunning. We also have
an added bonus in that he appears to be homogenous for siver
and to date has not produced any brown-spotted kittens.
