These
are some of the prizes won at two annual shows
in the year 2000 by our beautiful Bengal Gogees
Tomorrows Child and our Champion Lilac Burmese
kitten Minahto Typha Niteprincess - both of which
won Overall Best in Show Exhibit.
Yes,
we do win prizes but we have tried to focus our
website on the cats. If you wish to find out more
about our show successes, please CONTACT

Typha Dhaintee Belleenah
(Lilac Burmese Queen) |
 |
 |
|
“Leena”
has never got the hang of size relationships. She is
a small dainty queen with enormous thoughts. She will
tackle anything, no matter how much bigger it is than
her.
She
adores our Scotty dog Marmite and they go on many missions
together around the garden. She has done very well on
the show bench, but unfortunately we had to stop showing
her as she will lick her stomach and leave it like a
shiny pink apple. Not quite the show condition required
for the Grand Champion class! She has a lovely pink
caste to her coat and clear yellow eyes. She is a very
affectionate Burmese who never stops purring and follows
you around wherever you go. Her speciality is to throw
herself down in front of you and trip you up. She is
very popular with visitors as she sits on everyone’s
lap and purrs. She looks so adorable, they have no idea
what an evil little thing she really is!!

Aime
Is a brown tortie Burmese, directly descended from a
very special tortie Burmese queen we had many years
ago: Grand Champion Starshadow Jesta Jezebel “Bella”
was a very typy, extravert girl. Aimie reminds us of
her in many ways and it is lovely to have her around.
She doesn’t carry the colours so we only have
red, brown and brown torties from her, but these are
always delightful kittens and when “married”
to Buffy, our lilac Burmese stud, the subsequent kittens
carry the colours. We have such a litter at the moment,
ready 24th September. For further details and pictures
please see Burmese Kittens.

Bertha
is very special to us. She is the only girl we have
from our lovely Burmese stud boy Gr. Ch. Typha Silverwinged
Xplorer. We have got his son Majik, but he is fourteen
years old now and sadly getting old. Having Bertha was
a strange twist of fate. Her mother came over to be
mated to Silver and then could not return to Ireland
because of the foot and mouth epidemic. The two resultant
Burmese kittens were consequently raised here with their
mother. We sold one for the owner and kept the other,
Bertha, with the owner’s agreement. We were particularly
anxious to have one, as by this time Silver was suffering
from kidney failure and probably would not sire any
more kittens. Bertha was called Bertha, because we wanted
her registered as Birth of the Blues and it was a good
play on words. Unfortunately the instructions were lost
and the registration was done from memory and she ended
up as Sing the Blues!! Never mind – we still call
her Bertha! She is a very beautiful little girl, as
you would expect from such a mating and we have had
some really lovely kittens from her. She is also everything
you would expect from a “Silver” kitten,
laid back, purry and very sweet.

of the 2007 Supreme kitten Typha Warriorprincess
Scrumpy
is real purrsonality-plus! From a tiny kitten, she made
sure she was noticed, and nothing has changed. We showed
her once as a kitten, at the National, where she won
first and Best of Breed. However her desire for motherhood
prevented us from continuing to show her, as her persistant
calling caused her to lose too much weight.
In
hindsight, this move was the right one, and we now have
a very happy mother, and have had some absolutely stunning
babies from her, least of not which was Typha Warriorprincess.
(June 2008) -
Scrumpy currently has a "Reallyscrumptious"
litter; details of which you will find on the kittens
page.

Fudge
is a delightful young queen out of Ch Typha Buffoonbilly.
She has inherited both his size and temperament, and
is a great asset to our breeding programme.
Currently
she has a litter out of Ch Typha Chatline, which consists
of 3 adorable boys. One blue and two chocolate. These
will be ready to leave home late June 2008.
Do
look on her web page, which shows her with them at 10
days old.

We
are extremely proud of our little home-grown beauty,
who brings together all our old famous lines in one
delicious package. The first time we showed her was
as a kitten at the National Cat Club Show in December
2007. Much to our delight she beat all other Burmese,
Adults, Kittens and Neuters including UK Grand Champions
& Premiers, to become Best in Show Burmese. She
then added to this prestigious title winning Best in
Show Pedigree kitten as well.
At
the age of 1 year and 3 days she became a GCCF Champion
in three straight shows, again winning over some very
strong competition. Tempting though it is to continue
showing her, we are now going to let her have a break
and have some kittens.
Only
the best for our girl and we have chosen GCCF Gr Ch
& TICA TGC Ayshazen Hisfathers Eyes, (known as Harry
to his friends) to be the father of her kittens. We
will keep you posted as to progress, but they should
be very beautiful. Harry & Daisy are captured together
on film on her web page.

We
were very excited when Jewell was born. This was an
amazing kitten, with a very broad short wedge, excellent
nose break, straight short nose, and a chin to die for.
We had regrettably promised her to a friend, but when
she was unable to take her, we were more than delighted
to keep her ourselves.
We
mated her to Champion Typha Buffonnbilly and she produced
our "Superstar", i.e. Champion Typha Daisychain.
She
currently has a repeat litter with one blue boy, three
lilac boys, and two lilac girls. Hold your breath -
we are - they look stunning! They will be ready around
the first week of July 2008. We have tentative bookings
but are waiting to see how they develop.
