These
are some of the prizes won at two annual shows
in the year 2000 by our beautiful Bengal Gogees
Tomorrows Child and our Champion Lilac Burmese
kitten Minahto Typha Niteprincess - both of which
won Overall Best in Show Exhibit.
Yes,
we do win prizes but we have tried to focus our
website on the cats. If you wish to find out more
about our show successes, please CONTACT

Dam
of the 2007 Supreme kitten Typha Warriorprincess
Scrumpy
is real purrsonality-plus! From a tiny kitten, she made
sure she was noticed, and nothing has changed. We showed
her once as a kitten, at the National, where she won
first and Best of Breed. However her desire for motherhood
prevented us from continuing to show her, as her persistant
calling caused her to lose too much weight.
In
hindsight, this move was the right one, and we now have
a very happy mother, and have had some absolutely stunning
babies from her, not least of which is Typha Warriorprincess.

Titania
is the daughter of King and Scrumpy and a real chip off
the block. A gentle, sweet, uncomplicated girl who is
just full of love. Scrumpy is no longer a 'Spring chicken',
and although she thinks she will go on for ever having
kittens, we didn't want to take a chance of losing that
magical combination, so we kept Titania.
This
young lady is now a mother herself, having given birth
to a litter of girls on the 14th October 2010. She proved
to be a very competent, caring mother and her babies
are beautifully-typy, laid-back and fat!

We
are extremely proud of our little home-grown beauty,
who brings together all our old famous lines in one
delicious package. The first time we showed her was
as a kitten at the National Cat Club Show in December
2007. Much to our delight she beat all other Burmese
- Adults, Kittens and Neuters, including UK Grand Champions
& Premiers, to become Best in Show Burmese. She
then added to this prestigious title winning Best in
Show Pedigree kitten as well.
At
the age of one year and three days she became a GCCF
Champion in three straight shows, again winning over
some very strong competition. Tempting though it was
to continue showing her, we then let her have a break
and have some kittens.
She
has since been back on the show bench were she has won
a Grand Certificate and a Reserve Grand against very
strong competition. However, her maternal needs have
taken precedent again and she is calling her head off!
She definitely believes in her hormones ruling her life,
not the show bench! We are trying to hold out, but nature
will probably win!

(Lilac Burmese Queen) |

Firefly
is a younger sister of Ch.Typha Daisychain. Daisy was
so special to us that we kept another lilac girl from
the repeat mating we just couldnt resist
her. She also has her sisters delightful and loving
nature, beautiful pink lilac clear coat
and lovely deep yellow eyes.
Interestingly, one thing that they seem to have in common
is that they both flash their tails to express
themselves. Not as a warning or to show aggressive feelings,
just to say "we are here!"
Firefly
has now become a mother to a lovely litter of Asians.
A picture is on the Asian
kittens page. They have the sweetest temperaments,
and are real love babies! What else would you expect
from a combination of her and Typha Huntersmoon (Loony)?

Eve
is a delightful large brown girl who goes back to our
older lines. She is now coming up to seven years old,
so probably wont be breeding much longer. However,
as long as she continues to have healthy kittens and
enjoy them we will let her continue. We have never shown
her, which is a shame because she has lovely type, but
unfortunately we were busy promoting the Bengals at
the time that we should have put her on the show bench,
and the Bengal need as a breed was
greater than the Burmese, who already had full recognition.

Charisma
is our youngest Burmese queen and is a typical beautiful
Typha Burmese. Confident, affectionate and highly intelligent.
She goes right back to our original foundation lines
and it is lovely to think we are still perpetuating
the memory of our 'golden oldies' in her. She had her
first litter of kittens in April 2010 this year and
they were - Gorgeous! She presented us with six kittens:
three chocolates and three lilacs, and she raised them
as we would have expected from her. Naughty, loving,
beautiful hooligans! It very very difficult to part
with them.
