Bombay and Asian Self Breed Club

The Bombay and Asian Self Breed Club is the specialist breed club dedicated to the advancement of the UK Bombay and related self colour cats of Burmese type. The distinguishing features being a sleek short coat, sound to the roots with beautiful golden eyes. One of the aims of the club is to promote the welfare of these cats and to encourage a breeding program of Asian Self to Asian Self or Burmese.

The Asian Group Cat Society

The Asian Group Cat Society was the first Club in the UK dedicated to all aspects of the Asian breed, founded by the breed's originator, the late Miranda von Kirchberg, in 1984. We are the original GCCF- affiliated club catering for all five Asian varieties.

Their objectives are (a) to promote the welfare of all cats; (b) to promote careful and responsible breeding of all cats within the Asian group; (c) to disseminate information to members on the development of the Asian breed, and to offer guidance to breeders, exhibitors and pet owners; (d) to promote Asian cats to the general public.

CAT FANCIERS is the Internet forum for the cat fancy since 1993. Cat Fanciers is run by a group of cat breeders, exhibitors, show judges, veterinarians, and other ailurophiles (cat lovers) throughout the world, representing most cat breeds and clubs worldwide. The Link we provide is to their Bombay FAQ page which contains a lot of information about the Bombay cat breed.
KIMANI CATS Kimani Cats is run by Sarah Sellman and her husband. They are based in The New Forest. Their kittens are raised not only for their looks, but also health and temperament. They are raised in their home as part of the family and therefore fairly bomb proof! They follow GCCF guidelines, and their kittens do not leave their mother until they are 13 weeks old, fully weaned and vaccinated, wormed and litter trained. All their kittens are GCCF registered.
