The
Burmese Cat Club was formed in 1955 and is
one of the largest cat clubs in the UK with a national
and international membership. They exist to safeguard
the wellbeing and the purity of the breed, and to encourage
a wider appreciation of the unique qualities of Burmese
cats. |

The
Burmese Cat Society was founded in 1979.
The objects of the Society are:
- to
promote proper breeding and exhibition of Burmese
- to
encourage an active interest in the care and protection
of the breed;
- to
assist and advise owners on all matters pertaining
to Burmese cats.

Aysha-Zen
Cats is a small Burmese breeding and showing
household in Eastleigh, Hampshire, run by Chrissy Russell.
In addition to Burmese, she occasionally breeds Siamese
and Tonkinese. All of the cats are loved dearly, and kittens
make wonderful pets, with the occasional show stopper
turning up. One such gem is GCCF Gr Ch and TICA TGC Ayshazen
Hisfathers Eyes, Chrissy's brown Burmese stud carrying
blue and chocolate. |

Skampaws
is a small Burmese breeder run by Margaret Dewhurst and
her husband. All their kittens are part of the family,
growing up and living with the other cats and their dog,
in a FeLV and FIV negative household, enjoying regular
visits from the family and grandchildren, ensuring they
are sociable and confident, ideal as family pets. |
