|
Over the
last two years, we have concentrated on specific aspects of
the Bengal breed, such as whitened tummies and large rosettes,
both of which enhance the look of the Bengal. This year, we
have been able to create a fresh gene-pool which, integrated
with our existing rosetted and white-tummied cats, is producing
exciting and varying degrees of these incredible features.
To ensure that we continue to produce genetically sound lines
with these assets, we have reluctantly decided to let some
of our original beautiful breeding queens go as pets, rather
than risk the possibility of problems that could arise from
inbreeding with our newer but related lines. These girls have
done their bit for the breed and are the backbone of today's
beautiful cats. They deserve their own homes and people who
will love them.
Would
you like to give any of them a loving home?
They are fully vaccinated for Flu, Enteritis, Chlamydia and
Leukaemia and microchipped. Some need spaying Costs are very
minimal considering the quality of the girls. For the more
mature ones it is just the cost of spaying and a contribution
to our Welfare Fund for the vaccinations and microchip. For
a couple it is a little more as they are young and stunning.
If you think you would like to consider giving one (or two)
a home, why not get in touch, have
a chat and come and have a look?

| Hurricane's
Top Notch Report! |
| Here
is Pam Wilding's report on Hurricane when he became an Imperial
Grand Champion at the National in December 2010. We're so proud
of him.
IMPERIAL
CLASS AV FOREIGN GR CH MALE
IGRCH ALGER-STREET'S GR CH TYPHAST HURRICANE (76 30)
Wow, well he just blew me away. What a magnificent specimen
of the breed this is. Strong head of correct proportions.
Good profile and chin. Medium ears good shape and setting.
Eyes correct shape and setting and with such a gentle expression.
Muscular body, strong legs and round paws (legs and feet feeling
lovely when wrapped around my neck). Thick tail of good length.
Superb coat texture, pattern and colouring. I understand he
became an Imperial today. He deserves it. He's as near perfect
an example of this breed as I have seen. He was of course
in superb condition and so very friendly.

Results of the National Cat Club Show December 2010 |
Imperial
:- Grand Champion Typhast Hurricane (1 UK Grand)
Champion:- Typhast Wowfactor.
At The
Southern Counties Cat Club Show back on 30th January, Hurricane
was Best in Show Foreign Adult, won his 4th Imperial certificate
and was Best of Breed.
He has
since then had a rest to give our other boys a chance, but
we brought him out for the Supreme on 20th November where
he won the UK Grand and Best of Breed, going on to compete
for Best of Variety. He really did enjoy his day out and so
did we.
Now that he has his Winter weight, we decided to also enter
him for the National and try for his fifth Imperial. - which
we are delighted to report that he won. (also Best of Breed
and first in all his side classes - having a real red-card
day!).
It was an especially special day for Hurricane, as his daughter,
Typhast Wowfactor, won the CC in a very strong class, making
her up to Champion. His grandson, Premier Typhast Zsami, won
his second Grand Premier award, with his son, Premier Typhast
Ulysses, wining the Reserve Grand Premier Certificate - that
represented 100% of the Typhast entry, so we are very proud!
Also to be congratulated is his grandson, International Grand
Champion Typhast Rhambo, who won his title in Finland the
week before at just 16 months old. Our thanks to all their
proud owners for showing them so beautifully.
